A Free-Flowing Delaware River

With no dams or impediments on the river's main stem, the Delaware is one of the few remaining large free-flowing rivers in the United States. Its headwaters are in the Catskill Mountains of New York state and it flows southward through four other states: Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland and Delaware.
