Where Alligators and Crocodiles Both Live
Everglades National Park is the only place on Earth where American alligators and American crocodiles live side by side. The 1.5-million-acre park, established in 1947, is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, an International Biosphere Reserve, and a Wetland of International Importance — a trio of designations shared by only a handful of protected areas worldwide.
