The Vidalia Onion

Known as the sweetest onion in the world, the Vidalia onion can only be grown in the fields of certain counties around Vidalia, Georgia. Vidalia varieties are unusually sweet compared to other onions due to the low amount of sulfur in the soil in which Vidalia onions are grown.
